University

I spent 3 years at the university of cumbria where I studied my Foundation Degree in Technical Theatre and BA Honours in Productions and Stage management. Over the 3 years I did a variety of roles, from operating to being a production manager. The most successful show being Treasure Island where I was production manager on sound design. From start to finish the whole show was well organised and the director Adam Morley was a huge help to both the cast which contained the first ever female Long John Silver, and the crew. I was also Deputy Stage Manager for the successful show Legally Blonde where I built a positive reputation with both the director Grant Murphy and the cast. For The Mystery of Edwin Drood I was both the lighting and set design. Up until Treasure Island, it had the best visual stunning set. I was the stage manager and lighting operator for A steady rain, where like Legally Blonde I built a positive reputation with the cast. For And Yet We Stand Tall and Sweet Charity, I was crew and set constructor. I also did set construction for The Canterbury Tales as well as have a cameo appearance as a fly man and cast assistant.
